Penned about influencer culture in a world filled with social media icons, the single looks set to turn heads as Plews looks to make a name for himself in the indie-rock game. Speaking about the single, Charlie explains, “I wrote ‘Nothing Changes’ about comparison culture and the line between peoples online personas and reality. Trying to get away from social media and detox-ing from technology is something I think we all struggle with, but the more we try the harder it seems to get away. This song is an ode to those feelings, when you find yourself wanting to give up on trying to stay happy twenty-four-seven.”
